Beginner
No prior instruction or maybe it's been awhile since you have attempted this. "...knit AND watch a movie at the same time...are you KIDDING???
Confident Beginner
Knows the basic cast-ons, cast-offs, increases and decreases and is ready for more challenges. "...can knit during light comedies I've seen before."
Very Confident Beginner
Has some experience with more advanced techniques like knitting-in-the-round. Knows at least three cast-ons, a couple of different bind-offs, and at least two different increases and decreases. They can probably handle a new flick with more dialog than scenery. Okay with FAMILIAR action flicks.
Advanced
Often knits without looking at their hands. Has been known to fall asleep while knitting.... and will usually complete the row anyway. (not that it's always correct) Is capable of knitting at stoplights, but who would ever do such a thing? Can knit during most movies, but subtitles still pose a problem

Teacher Bios

Melody Draves
Owner. Taught herself to knit just to make a knitted cow. She has taught rooms full of 3rd graders how to knit.
Jan Hench
We every so often meet people that are so securely inolved in what they like to do that they sparkle and it is hard not to want to join right in and sparkle, too when you talk with Jan. She fell for tatting and works with local and national tatting groups. This is not a dieing art with Jan around. her patient enthusiasm is infectious.
Juaquetta Holcomb
Is a spinner's inspiration being unfettered by convention in her artform and her whole career as a fiber artist. She can be spotted spreading the wonder of her wares locally at markets and faires and nationally by invitation. You can ask her about airports and spinning wheels and she will surely have stories.
Ardell Parkin
Experienced teacher and quilter and spinner and more. She currently has a yard full of Border Collies in various phases of training for National Agility Trials in October. She keeps us hopping in the shop.
Sherry Robinson
Sherry started knitting because she wanted to &lquo;Knit Beautiful Sweaters&rquo;. When she started teaching knitting she discovered that the teaching is just as exciting as the knitting itself. It has made her pay attention to techniques so she can pass on the building blocks of knitting know-how to anyone who wants to try this creative avenue – whatever their ultimate knitting goal.
